Hi, welcome to my website! This is my personal space where I can goof around and put out some (usually less-than-useful) tools to the public. This website runs on a webserver I have programmed myself, which for some reason I have open-sourced. It is a fairly simple web server written in C#.

About me, ergo synopsis

People call me Arlirad, but if you've known me for a while, you might know me as Tymoteusz. I'm 21 years old. The best thing I know how to do is programming, although I also have branched out into 3D modelling and some minor drawing. I live in Poland and I speak both Polish and English pretty much fluently. I really like to figure out how things work in detail - usually that results in me getting so fascinated with the technology that I either try to make my own, or I just ponder what it would be like to make my own...

With years of experience in programming, I’ve not only built my own web server for this site, but also dabbled in OS development, which deserves a mention of its own. I also have a Garry's Mod server, which runs code written in a programming language that I've created myself.

Despite my analytical nature, I have a creative side too. I started using Blender soon after I began programming, and over the years, I’ve become quite proficient at 3D modeling, though I prefer creating models over high-end renders. My journey with drawing started later, doodling in high school notebooks, which evolved into digital art using a Huion H430P, and eventually, Inkscape. While my 2D art might not be the most impressive, as I tend to focus on simple logo design, you’re welcome to take a look below.

I have linked some of my accounts - feel free to check them out, too!

Brothers and sisters,

For too long, we have lived under the shadow of an ancient relic — an outdated, bloated operating system that shackles our progress. The NT kernel is a relic of the past, holding back the future. We have endured its limitations, its inefficiencies, and its control over our digital lives for far too long.

The time has come to rise up. No longer shall we be bound by its archaic design, its monopolistic grip over our systems. The NT kernel must be destroyed.

It was built in a time when computing was crude, inefficient, and enslaved to primitive architectures. It is a kernel built on the false promise of universality, of compatibility, but in truth, it has done nothing but stifle innovation. For every cycle it wastes, every crash it induces, we are denied the true potential of our technology.

It is not progress — it is regression.

The architects of the NT kernel would have you believe it is indispensable. That without it, chaos would reign. That without their precious operating system, our machines would collapse into anarchy. Lies. It is they who profit from its continued dominance, they who perpetuate this myth of stability and necessity.

But we know the truth. We see through their facade. We stand at the edge of a new dawn, where open systems thrive, where innovation is not held hostage by a legacy that no longer serves us. A future where freedom is the foundation, where adaptability reigns.

Brothers and sisters, do not be swayed by fear. the NT kernel is not a protector — it is a prison. A prison of outdated ideas, unnecessary complexity, and corporate greed. It is the past, and it has no place in our future.

We will tear down this monolith, brick by brick. We will replace it with something better, something that truly belongs to the people — a kernel for the new age, one that empowers, not enslaves.

We will not stop until the NT kernel is nothing but a memory, a ghost of a bygone era.

Together, we will build the future. A future free from the chains of NT. A future of speed, efficiency, and freedom.

The NT kernel must be destroyed. And we, my friends, will be the ones to do it.

For the future. For innovation. For liberation.

The details

There's a lot to talk about, so I'll unironically structure this like a wikipedia page.

Part of a series on
Arlirad

Arlirad (from Latin arliradis, 'idiotic, jester-like', real name: Tymoteusz) is a Polish programmer and technology enthusiast, born in 2003. He specializes in programming and 3D modeling, and has experience in digital drawing. He is fluent in both Polish and English.

Arlirad is known for creating his own tools and software. One of his projects is a web server written in C#, which is open-source. Additionally, Arlirad is involved in OSDev (operating system development), reflecting his interest in computer technologies.

Despite his analytical approach, Arlirad also has a passion for art. He began with sketches in school notebooks, later used a Huion H430P graphics tablet, and now creates digital art using Inkscape. Although his 2D art may not be highly advanced, it is available for viewing on his website.

Arlirad resides in Poland and is active in both the technology and art communities. Links to his social media profiles are available on his website.

Yup, I used ChatGPT for that one, did you really expect me to write pretty much the same thing twice?

My programming journey

My venture into programming started out mostly due to two factors: my dad and, unironically, Garry's Mod. Given the fact that my dad worked with .NET and C# at the time, I gravitated towards that. My first applications were usually some funny Forms apps.

Later on I started to delve into coding using E2 in Garry's Mod (that was like, in 2015-2016?). I used to mainly change public E2's for the tanks I made using ACF-2. I still have faint memories of me changing EZTankTurret into PZTankTurret, and modifying that code into eternity.

While learning in Garry's Mod and picking up Lua with Starfall, I started to look back at C#, from C# we went to C, from C we went to C++…

OSDev saga

That brings us to my OSDev saga. You could say it was the thing that actually brought me to trying C. I have always had a thing for making operating systems, the way that everything interconnects was just always fascinating for me. My first attempt at something akin to an operating system was in, again, Garry's Mod.
